Classic Grip Traveller Game

If they've got the requirements for this software on the web site, they've done a wonderful job of hiding them. So, I just downloaded it & was quite annoyed to find nothing in the zip but a MS-Windows executable, which is completely useless to me.

I found the system requirements for the Grip system. It is only for windows based systems and currently I am running it on a XP Professional system and tried it out on a windows 98SE with no problem. Personally I don't find much use for a virtual map in an online game and can use Roger Wilco or other voice chat programs independantly. You can always upload or email map files if needed and IRC works well enough and there are lots of IRC clients. But if Grip or whatever fits your needs cool.

As always, YMMV.

So everyone can meet online in a room, and I can invite you into the game; go to this link and register yourself an alter ego. The server will send you a password to your email address you supply it. Then you can change it. When you to use the PC program, select the GripNet tab and login to Random sorcery.net Server. Ensure you download the PC program plus the Grip update for it to work correctly.
