Classic Grip Traveller Game

Grip is a program for playing pen & paper roleplaying games over the Internet. It is made by QLI, who sponsors this web site. They produced a classic Traveller specific version. (I'm guessing that was the start of the relationship between Hunter & MWM that led to T20.)

(From what I understand, the Traveller version of Grip isn't any different than the "standard" version, but comes with the Book 1-3 reprint & some other Traveller goodies.)

I can't really tell you anymore about Grip as I don't have a machine it will work on. I'm guessing it is somewhat similar to WebRPG & OpenRPG.

"Grip Traveller" could refer either to the Traveller specific version of Grip (a product) or to playing Traveller by means of Grip (an activity).

Hope that helps.

We shifted the game from grip to yahoo messenger, which everyone can run on their systems. So reason the grip is not compatable with some computers. Reasons are unknown. Our group is at the following address : http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/TFR/
So far it looks like we will be meeting on sundays. If you are interested, just leave a message here or request to join the group.
