Classic SF e-books

Did a quick look and this doesn't seem to have come up.

Got into a discussion of H Beam Piper with a barely 20-something co-worker today.
He had read "Space Viking," but was unfamiliar with other Piper books.

Did a search and found this resource for him:
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/author/8301

The main books not there are the later Fuzzy Books and also his Gunpowder God/Down Styphon series. Those you have to track down in hard copy.

Some of Andre Norton's books are there as well. Just search "science fiction" on Project Gutenberg. If you search by popularity, you will get a bit of a surprise as to what the most popular title to download is.

Perhaps not "Classic", but the Baen Book CDs have a boatload of stuff available.

At a minimum, it has the entire (at least I think it's all of it) Honor Harrington series, which is getting old enough to be Classic.

Except that Weber is still writing more in the series.

But yes, the original book is now over 25 years old (originally published: April 1993), so if it was an automobile in 5 more years it would qualify for a Utah "Vintage Auto" license plate.

I think I have most of the Little Fuzzy books, and one of his collections of early starship travel and the peopel they encountered. Nodesense ? I think is the title. A planet of people who didn't use words but sounds to communicate.

I only have the first Down Styphon book. 'Lord Kalven of Otherwhen'.

A very excellent author H. Beam Piper.

The Fifth Imperium has a bunch of the Baen CDs available for download, although Lois McMaster Bujold's pulled hers from the list. If you're into her, I suggest checking Cryoburn in hardback for the cd.

My introduction to H. Beam Piper was with Little Fuzzy. Really liked Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen.
