Contacting Marc W. Miller

I don't know how, but somehow I ended up on some mailing list that had MWMs email address on it.

I am abnout to publish a novel that is obviously TRAVELLER inspired, and I thought it would be nice to receive the Grandmaster's blessing before publication. I sent him an email where I offered willingness to send a copy free of charge, but until now there is no response.

Anyone know of valid contact information?

crossing my fingers...

aramis, thanks for the prompt response. Now, if I could just check this board more often than I do for the important stuff...

Here is the email I sent to Mr. Miller today:

Greetings to you, sir! I am a huge fan of your work, beginning with the original boxed set. I bought it when on leave from Marine boot camp in June 1977.

I am about to publish a novel which will be recognized as TRAVELLER inspired, and I wanted to send you a copy for your perusal and possible blessing. Needless to say any changes which you feel are required will be made. Attached is the latest edit. Not the final yet, so there are some formatting issues, but close enough to publishing quality for you to get the feel of my writing.

At your convenience, acknowledge receipt of this message. I would bet that you are a very busy man, so I will do my best to not annoy you with "are you done yet?" questions.

Thank you for your consideration, and may your future be brighter than your past.

Sincerely,

Anthony R. Benson

...you already have...

Characters which I occasionally post are from my writing, which is spread across three projected novels. I have to admit i am somewhat surprised that they do not get more of a reaction. Lots of reads, no comments. Makes me wonder what I am doing wrong.

The apparent silence is filled with the whirring of hard drives. It is known as the Black Hole of Quality. If people didn't like your posts, you *would* be hearing from them.
