does anyone have info on strontium dog?

I can't find any info beyond the fact that Mongoose is putting out a suppliment with a Strontium Dog theme. A campaign setting i believe, but the mutant bounty hunter class may just fit right into any campaign realy. Any ways, just seeing if there is more info out there.

On a side note, I wonder if the Mega City Judge thing will be in the same book.

I've asked this question on the Mongoose boards, but only got vague responses. I assume they will put out Strontium Dog as a setting book once MGT is established (whatever that means).

I believe Mongoose already have a Judge Dredd line? But maybe they will re-write it for MGT.

I think that is the case. Traveller will be the engine for all their sf games. B5 will get a Trav sourcebook, but they're keeping that pseudo20 like Conan because they are popular that way.

Rogue Trooper would be a good candidate too.

Visiting mega city would be interesting (I'd hate to deal with customs), but it would get kind of redundent running a campaign there knowing that an entire universe is out there for exploration while being stuck in the metropolis. But then again, Dredd did get off the planet during the Judge Child quest, and his early moon adventures. And having system jumping Judges with the authority of the Imperium could proove interesting also.
But with the strontium dog theme, it's all about planet hopping. And it may prove to be interesting during caharcter creation to see what mutation the stronty gets...I'd imagine the survival rate is low.

Judge Dread and Strontium Dog will surely be different lines.

I think Strontium Dog has been mooted as coming first, but when is anybody's guess at the moment. I suspect it will be early 2009 now. Judge Dread had a lot of support for it's d20 edition from Mongoose, however, so once the ball gets running I expect that there could be a lot of support for these licences. At the moment, though, I think they are just concentrating on extablishing the OTU and the various rules supplements first.

The upcoming alternative settings that have been mentioned in one way or another have been:

Strontium Dog
Judge Dread
Nemesis the Warlock
Starship Troopers
Hammer's Slammers
Babylon 5

Nemisis the Warlock?! Cool! With the genocidal alien cleansing shock troops of Torqamentor (excuse the spelling) that could be a hard hitting injection into any campaign.
And the Rogue Trooper idea (though not listed but mentioned by Klaus) could introduce some interesting technology...like haveng former character's personalitys imbedded into equipment to perhaps add to skill checks.
And along the same line, the Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog weaponry would be a welcome addition in a tight spot. Especialy against the genocidal alien cleansing shock troops of Torqamentor.

I also have the feeling that there will be some big announcements for other licences in the near future - the so called 'holy grail' could be one of them.

If the mutations in Strontium Dog are going to be true to the source material, then I can't see them being worked into the OTU.
