Something that's been bugging me though (just a bit mind) is the name, let's open it up a little and maybe call it the "Forgotten Alliance of Classic Travellers", what do you think FLS?

Liam (the current evil Gm here, we "round robin" the helm, as it were), the players are using what suits them, style wise (Version of Traveller), I am attempting to make the game as generic as possible, but making conversions as needed with the new T-20 productr(I home brew meself MT-TNE-T20, btw).
The scenario is Golden era (by majority vote, one we are all familiar with), Spinward Marches.

Currently we have the following players/characters

CPT Black Light/ CPT Roger Winton of Rhylanor, of the (I)SS Ursula (a Q-ship), IMp Navy, FTR Pilot Sqdn ldr.

Frank Lee Scarlett/ Mr Scarlett, Security/Steward

myself/Micheal Francis Rourke, Steward/Purser/Security chief of ship, from Hefry/regina

Bryan Gibson/ Susan "Sushi" Cray, Chief Engineer (from Terra)

Maspy/WEAPS-LTCDR Felix Markov (from Quar-chronor)

Ellros/ SB pilot Lt. Hawkins (from district 268), Marine pilot

*** Erin A Kinser/ XO-CDR Eakheia (Aslani, Imp Navy), cameo appearances(her schedule permitting), from an Imperial Space faring Aslan merchanter clan.

Chron/FLT officer-LCDR Alexander James

Shane Mclean/Ship's medical-DR Hartley james, Tremous Dex.

With the EaK's schedule, the XO maybe relegated fer the time being to NPC status, and cameo appearances. So I see no reason why you cannot "join in".
We are on a two week hiatus(monday evenings), till DEC 23rd, 2002.

hehe, oops, I just thought it was a little forum poetry posting club idea you had (since you started this F.A.C.T. forum, with a poem) but now I see from Liam's post it's a wee game you all have going

I'd love to jump into that with both feet too (as I did the posts here), assuming it's not a ftf game. It looks like a great crowd and of course the setting is perfect.

We'd love to have ye Far Trader (RV sez we start too frakkin late fer him, but most of us are US (Shane is UK, in Germany).

The haiku's were something Frank started, and I ran with, as a sorta "twin-image glimpse" at each each Player Character (based on events in game/ past histories).

Frank was thrilled that we started this game (he's landlocked in Deep texas far from gamers near Lubbock), he naturally burst into poetry. Such is the power of Traveller upon his gentle soul..or somethin like that!
