FFE CD-ROM Release Schedule

Any idea if it will be a free disc, a download, or an extra on one of the new releases?

Ought to just make free off the website, if you ask me, as he has done in the past. Without the context of the rest of the book(s), the pages mean nothing.

I was planning to purchase the MT CD-ROM until I learned of the (avoidable) problems. And errata on a web page won't do it for me; it's just nonsensical to me that such easily avoidable problems made it into production. I've already got to flip between many pages of errata for MT, why should I do so for what should be a cleaned up version? Particularly when I can get them from DriveThruRPG?

I will refrain from purchasing any further CD-ROMs until I hear if they suffer from the same sorts of issues. I'm a fan, but I expect a certain minimal level of quality.

With regards to this so-called "level of quality" that you speak about.... IMHO this level of quality is still present in the current dead-tree Classic Reprints. This is the reason I still rave (positively) about the reprints, because they contain very little mistakes or omissions. I think the only one glaring omission was a single page missing from the Droyne Alien Module.

Maladominous,

I agree - I've purchased all of the dead-tree CT reprints. There are actually a few problems with the Games book (missing pages from FFW, missing charts from Striker and the like) but very minor overall. Of course, the original product didn't have much errata to begin with, unlike MT which is chock full of errors.

I have the games book. Does FFE have an eratta page for the CT Reprints?
Good thing I have striker already ;)

Most gracious of you sir
Thanks

I wonder, would Mr. Miller consider a pre-order scheme whereby the CD-ROM with the most pre-orders would be bumped up the production schedule? I've seen wargame companies (GMT Games, for instance) use a similar scheme with print products.

That was stupid of me. It's there, under Adventures and Sourcebooks thrid line second column, file 2300AD-28.pdf.

Sorry for any panic I may have caused.
