So what's the difference - if any - between an "eBook" and a normal adobe acrobat PDF file?

Assuming ebook isn't just an "e-" name (like ecommerce, ebusiness, etc.)

PDF with digital rights management which IMO increases the headaches all around.

The dates for the free promotions are now posted at the FFE site. Also a go live date for the e-books. (June 7th)

Hmmm...so two weeks after the site's up the first promotion kicks in?

Offhand I'd think it better to have a promotion at launch as a "Opening Week" kind of thing. Ok, maybe not a core rule book (so as to have two weeks to work out kinks and glitches) but some sort of sampler or tidbit from the GDW archives. Not that the current page doesn't preclude such a thing from happening.
