Fifth Imperium: Genres, Part One

I started a new sequence on Fifth Imperium today, about mining genres for adventure ideas in Traveller. It's here:

It's a four-part series, that I think is going to run in #8, #9, #11, and #12.

Fun stuff there Shannon...now I know that you are a successful game designer and you could turn these scenarios out for a profit. But, would you consider releasing them free maybe to Freelance Traveller or even here. As we are in desparate need for more Traveller adventures that reflect the best of Old Skool with the Mongoose Rules.

Freelance Traveller already has an agreement with Shannon to run his Fifth Imperium columns; the one that he posted March 8 on RPG.Net will appear in the next (April) issue of Freelance Traveller - we've actually caught up with his past columns, and are now going to be able to keep "current", with the appearance in Freelance Traveller basically lagging the appearance on RPG.Net by a month.

That said, if Shannon wants to release 'giveaways' that fit in any of our other sections through Freelance Traveller, we'll have both hands out, and be drooling...

I was rather speaking to a write up of scenarios that he outlines in the colummn would be better served in Freelance Traveller.

I'm happy to do RPG writing for both free and pay, but I've just barely got enough time for all the writing I do right now, so I don't expect to do any more at the moment than the commitments I've already got.

Tell me about any which particularly excite you, and I can consider them for "Amber Zone" treatments in future Fifth Imperium (or maybe Signs & Portents).
