From the Adventures of Jon Smithe, Imperial Scout - Goober goes to the races

[Spinward Scout]

"Ok Goober, come here."

Jon patted a blanket lying in the floor. "It's okay. Come on."

Goober, the Tree Kraken, inched his way over a little to the blanket. He sniffed the air - or what passed as sniffing for his species.

Then when Goober thought everything was safe, he kind of waddled on over and sat down on the blanket. This was new. He didn't know what to expect.

"Ok, are you ready, Goob?"

Goober just blinked at him.

"Okay Buddy, pick up the edge of the blanket," Smithe said to his domestic robot.

"Now run, Buddy!"

The Robot ran down the hallway dragging the blanket with the little Tree Kraken on it

Smithe burst out laughing when he heard Goober going "Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!" as he was pulled along.

Buddy got to the end of the hallway and stopped and Goober stopped "Oooooo"ing.

"Ok," Smithe said when he was done laughing. "Bring him back running."

Smithe laughed again when he heard Goober's "Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!" as he was pulled back up the hallway.

"That's just too funny!" Smithe said.

Goober let out a sound that was suspiciously like a giggle.

I like combining things. Goober is turning out to be a combination of Grogu (Baby Yoda), Baby Groot, and Lucas the Spider.
