Gateway Quadrant Map Problem.

Hello.
I down loaded the Pdf maps from Imperial Astrography & Star Maps & they dont match.
All the systems are in the same places but most of the names dont match, the belts and gas giants appear to be reversed to (the only one that lists UWP is Imperial Astrography but the Pdf's show gas giants and some of the systems show them present but the UWP shows none.
Found this while trying to put quadrent into Gal & H&E, dont have CC2.
AS an aside cant get galcc to run, i assume it will run with gal24c,windows xp, does it need c basic???. Got the sample map to run under campaign mapper????? (D&D Forgotten realms mapper)?????.

Hi Lionel!

The problem with belts/gas giants is known, and will I believe be corrected soon now that I've fixed the problem in Gal2CC. What source are you using comparing names?

If you don't have CC2 don't bother trying to get Gal2CC to run - as the readme says, CC2 is required to make use of the output. However, it doesn't need anything to run other than a Win32 operating system (basically Win95 or later) - you might be getting confused because it's a command-line program, so just double-clicking on it in explorer won't do much.

You know John GAL2CC may just work with the Forgotten Realms Campain Mapper as it's a CC2 derivitive program.
Lionel, you could check with Profantacy and see if there is a low cost upgrade to CC2Pro. IIRC there is but then .........

Hello Again.
The thought the problem had been fixed (other messages in coti)but i guess im wrong AGAIN.
the 2 sites are both COTI.
1 Star maps on the coti load screen.
2 Elibrary on the load screen (imperial astro).
star maps lists the first system in ley to be Arthur whereas the first system in the same spot in elibrary is amikell, (im asumming its only the names that where changed and only some of them.
Could you tell me where i can get a listing of all UWP for Gateway Quadrent as im trying to load them into gal24 and H&E.
Its realy time consuming to have to save each entry in star maps in excell, i think there has to be a file somewhere for the quadrent????.

Dont need an answer now found the anser in another topic.
the PDF's are right.
the Elibrary is wrong.
im guessing that the UWP are right and the belts gas giants are reversed.
Still looking for the quadrent list.
