Has anyone nailed Marc down

Just received the first of the reprints and a completely new player to Twilight (only using the Challenge scenarios for my modified Rebellion MT campaign) and I want to see MORE. Sorry for shouting but really has anyone nailed Marc down for a firm release schedule and contents.

Surely, it is only logical that the Going Home be the next theme hightlighting US Vehicles in the process.

Kafka, me boyo, Going Home is WAAAYYYY in your future. Why, you've not even begun to plum the depths of Krakow, nor faced RPG fire on the banks of the Vistula... No, you and the rest of HHC/173rd Inf have a bit of travel left to you...

Good luck in Kalisz, however...

BTW, check the thread on all us military types who played T2K way back when. Sad ain't it? :D

Ok, if I cannot hope for War torn America, I will settle further romps across Poland but why not include things that we might likely need. For instance, the East European sourcebook, Soviet Vehicle identification guide plus 3-4 adventures before setting sale.

Strange, I remember when T2000 was first released and it seemed like they headed back the mainland USA much quicker...

But, has anyone nailed down the firm release of further reprints? Or at least, the cause of the delay. The initial Traveller release came out fairly quickly. If FFE is having financial trouble why not put subscription to something like MT corrections on PDF as a way of raising additional cash. Not to mention, various articles from Challenge would be a welcome sight. 'cause, as it stands now the FFE is pretty bare...filled with promises but nothing to hope for.

At the very least, couldn't Marc have a semi-monthly column like the great guys at here at Quicklink do?

Oh, so some of the T2K stuff has been released? Does anyone know where it's available, or do I have to got to my FLGS and (shudder) ASK?

HUNTER, HUNTER, HUNTER, HUNTER, HUNTER, HUNTER!

Can you get an update for us?

Invoking the all mighty Call Hunter spell...it is T20, afterall...

If you are looking for the T20 Twilight release it is in development now. The tentative plan is to have it hit the QLI playtesters in Jan/Feb with the goal of getting on the shelves by this time next year. That was the last word I had from MJD.

The actual writing has a good start with character gen and prior service being reworked and tightened up, the intro is done. The weapons and vehicles lists are being prepared, and the post war history is in a basic outline.

2030 A.D. will most likely beat Twilight out the gate but you would have to get with Collin to see how the time line is there. Both games are more or less on a lose schedule.

As for Far Future releasing additional T2K modules I have no info on that. But I would like to know.

Hope that helps.

No, I am hoping for information about the FFE reprints that we can actually use rather than the generic answer "others are in the works".

Traveller has been accused of many things but D&D in Space, never was one of them. However, with the open licence, it is sort of, having a lineage of D&D. Now given that T20 is compactible with other D20 items. I decided to invoke, a Demon or Angel summons or at the very least, an agruary spell who might be able to bring forth answers rather than just looking at the usual tea leaves or pig entrails. Not to knock the fortune telling business but I am just really curious what is coming down for FFE...

and really wonder why Hunter does not give Marc a monthly column to keep us all informed.

Asked Marc today about the Twilight reprints. He said they are looking at first quarter 2004. As to what actually be in the next reprint, I do not know and Marc himself was not sure.

As a matter of fact, I went to somewhere in Boston which has a (rather damaged, all bent) copy of the first reprint. This goes to show that the reprints are out...

Thanks as always Hunter. What are the reasons for the delay and have you offered Marc a chance for a monthly column like your rantings or Martin's notes?
