We've been bantering this about enough, with liberal amounts of gallows humor, so I tossed this up (like a salad!) for the Lone Star Lounge chat room (Sundays) restraunt.
Basically, how do you like to eat you're K'Kree?
The Poll below has several variants, which is by no means exhaustive. If ye dinnae find yer fav, then hit None of the above, and post it below, the gourmands of Ley-Gateway await you, as do Vargr chefs, and Aslan cuisine elite everywhere. (Hivers, well, they'd clean up the week old leftovers anyway, so the HF input aside from the meat sauce recipe of the Hiver K'Kree war remains a state secret.)

Emilio D'Jour, Lonestar Lounge Chat room Maitre'd, LSCR restraunt.
(open Sundays/ reservations and pre-orders accepted! All Imperial credit cards accepted). Tipping, its not just required, its expected!

Excellent suggestions Mr Johnson! I shall put them, before the Chefs! They quite accomodating to Gnaak tastes! Pasta! (I knew I forgot the italian side of the house! Dern!) ;) :D

Considering the size of a K'kree carcase, I think we should have been allowed to pick our favorite three dishes or perhaps "all of the above".

We've got steaks, chops, ribs, flanks, brisket, etc. A nice whole K'kree barbeque followed by leftovers used in vindaloo, stroganoff, barbeque sandwiches, etc.

And of course the gut for sausage casings, the stomachs for haggis, various glands for sweetbreads (do K'kree have livers?), marrow bones for stew, and much more.

As they say, "Don't just eat that K'kree, eat the HELL out of it."

Thanx fer Postin Tanuki. As fer chosing three outta those listed, well, tried that before, and some chose only two, really screwed the numbers up. SO I stuck with one, and if ye didn't see what ya liked, post yer recipe/ version of a dish ye wanted!

Emilio sez thanx too!

So I have to ask.
What Wine goes well with K'Kree?
I mean Really, are they a white meat, or red? A subtle White Wine from Sol? Or a fat red from Massila? Or maybe a sparkling wine from the Reaver's Deep?

Really, the Wine makes the meal, People!

AN excellent topic for a poll, CPt BL! Why don't you post one? I know we have our wine drinkers out there (I prefer a methyglyn/spiced mead with mine, even marinated in it too fer 24hrs (see prereservation clause by Chef Emilio!)

Well, as Emperor of the Third Imperium and soon to be Grand Illuminated Poobah of the Zhodani Consulate, Cleon the IV, I wish to provide from my own personal stock a case of Tokaj Esencia. Please enjoy!

Oh and ignore the labelling, yes I know it's labelled "MD 20/20", that's simply how we label our Tokaj in the Imperial court!

What?! No General Tsao's K'kree! Totally outrageous!

And other menu thoughts:
Lemon Pepper K'kree
K'kree strips and salad [Ironic, no?]
Salisbury K'kree
K'kree and eggs

Forget the wine. I'll take either K'kree fajitas with a frozen margarita, chips, and salsa, or Filet K'kree with a baked spud and a pint of stout.

Based on the natural K'kree propensity to quite violently not want to be eaten, I prefer to prepare my K'kree from afar, preferably with Ortillery.

Flame-grilled to go!

Shane
(who is in a paticularly good mood today!)

Hoo'Kay! CPT Black Light! One order: in the wilds, Flame broiled, ortillery special please!
(We'll be right back!)

K'kree sausage stuffed raviolis, fried in pumpkin grapeseed oil with a little shredded parmisan, basil and parsley, served with oven-hot french bread and garlic sweet-cream butter, an oak-leaf lettuce salad with stilton cheese and raspberry wasabi vinagrette dressing, and a chilled rosé wine.

If one eats a sentient being, however mutually hostile, one should do it with class.
