I got bored and ran a game...

I suggest backgrounds, go to the backgrounds of these people for allies, and enemies.

Set up situations where they want to destroy enemy X, but you can't use guns.

Give them plot A and plot B, neither of which is good, but one branch must be chosen, but you can't do both. And once chosen, allies on the opposite branch will be jacked off cause you chose against 'em.

If they are mercenaries, have them go forth and develop some of their own contacts, not just "here's the list, pick the job."

Show the outside things that happen on a job, that are not combnat, a la vietnam, like building a school, or other humanitarian project, and that is bombed or set on fire by the bad guys.

Missions where direct action against allies of the enemy will pull the unit into a larger, and thus more dangerous conflict.

At this point the game may go here as the face to face thing isn't stable. Anyone up for helping me put out some basics like:

Standard kit, TL 12 mercenary
Standard kit, TL 10 militia
Probable vehicles for a light company widely dispersed

What technologies would be most pivotal in "daily life" in a TL 12 world?

Once the game is ready there will be an invite for CoTI members. Just not yet. I'm a story teller and like to have my stories ready. :)

It is CT, but can be converted to just about any system fairly painlessly.

I'm still trying to save up the $$ for the 443 bundle. Not sure if I want to run T5 or CT/MgT mix but I'd love to have all the background material. For the most part I'm not a crunchy guy but want to let the players be so if so inclined.
