Obviously having people join the Moot helps Hunter's cash flow, helps maintain the website, and other things.

As someone that joined early for full price when membership was first offered, I understand that. There was to be quite a bit of special content, as well as store discounts and access to playtest material.

Since that time very little has been released. No new playtest material has been in there in over a year (probably closer to 2 years) and some of the playtest material was pulled (understandable so). I personally have sat with 2 issues in my TA/EA subscription for over 2 years waiting for something new to be released. (There is only one issue of either I don't already own and I am not interested in TNE/1248 material.)

So what new benefits are there to coax people into renewing their subscription?

My comments were not meant as a negative, though looking back at it, they could be taken as such. I am more interested in what the plans are to attract our money.

I am not surprised that you didn't get much response. There has been so little change there, that many people, myself included, didn't even look. Under the new forum format at least we can see if something new is posted.

Same things really. New material and playtests will be made available there, you get the nice little title (woohoo!), and likely more features available only to Moot subscribers. Would like to get articles going again as well.

Agreed under the old system you never knew when something new was posted. Yet another reason I love this new forum software!

So what is in the pipe that we might be interested in playtesting? (I mean Honor Harrington is apparently dead, 2320 is released, the PHB is due out as soon as you can get it out, 1248 is gone and released elsewhere, Starfall is dead.) What are the big ticket items that are planned?

Drop some hints. Grab our interest.

So quick question as I've been away for a while. Those Moot subscriptions and ranks we took out a few years ago, have they been dropped and we need to resubscribe? I've no problems with it but am asking as I can't access The Moot at the moment.
