In Traveller Stats, what would you look like to a GM?

Time to show your stats, er, stuff…
If you were to define yourself using Traveller terms of skills and experience what would you look like to a GM?
Take your top skills depending on your personal experiences and list yourself in Traveller terms.

I could quantify myself as having the following skills if they crossed over from RL to OTU.
898888
Military-3 terms (US Marine Corps-1 term, US Army- 2 terms)

Leader-4
Admin-3
Medical-1

Based on the consideration that each skill level in CT terms equates to about two years of formal education, two years of work experience, or the equivalent, and bearing in mind the limit of Int and Edu on skill levels and skills as introduced in Book 4 and later, I'd daresay that my stats would be as follows:

776AA6
Age: 36 (4.5 terms; 1.5 Academic, 1 Professional, 2 Bureaucracy)

Admin-1, Brawl-0, Computer-3, Chemistry-2, Electronics-0, Ground Vehicle-2, Legal-1, Mechanical-0, Medical-0, Research-2, Survival-0, Writing-1

Cr (not enough)

Hope this helps,
Flynn

Not much - I doubt he'd bother putting me in front of his PCs, except perhaps as a "Kidnapped Businessman" or "Father Defending His Children" sort.

Unfortunately most of my skills are in the Professional/Craft/Technical areas (in T20 terms). In 2300AD terms, I'm too Core World to be much fun putting into an adventure. :D

Aww crap I wanted to accurately demonstrate my god like physical atributes but you are all being modest.

Damn do none of you work out?

The highest strength i've seen is 8, remember what Socrates said.

Age - 35 (passed my first aging roll with flying colours)

(Military 3 terms)

FAB 988

Yes F for strength, why? Because I have more than twice the strength of the average man which is according to Traveller 7 so I am an F.

A for dexterity, decent agility

B for endurance, physically robust with decent anaerobic and aerobic fitness.

Also I wanted to put FAB.

Combat Skills

Brawling/Unarmed - 7
Knife - 2
Sword - 1

Shotgun - 2
Rifle - 2 (Previously greater, law related skill loss)
Shadow throwing toast - 1

Intimidation - 2
Mechanical - 2
Medical - 1
Streetwise - 2

The high skill of brawling/unarmed comes from twenty years of boxing experience and some standing infront of a door (see intimidation).

I'm sure there are a lot of minor skills I couldn't remember or am just to lazy to think of.

I'm actually a useful PC, though looking at my skills I should probably join some sort of gang.

You lookin' at my bird? (uses intimidation skill)

Your not coming in. (Also uses intimidation skill)

Do you think i should just roll dice at work to determine my disposition, become an NPC in the game of life.

"Sorry i'm hostile towards you tonight, please leave the establishment"

"Step right in sir, trainers? No problem, wear my shoes instead"

My profile . . .
Figure about two skills per term.
Never in the military.
Four years of fencing/SCA rapier.
Three years of sales. (Liaison)
Four years of teaching on and off. (instruction)
Six years of history education. (history)
Driving since I was 16 but no formal training. (Ground Vehicle)
Working within a bureaucratic state structure for four years. (Admin)

For my stats, IMTU a Str of 15 is a 280 lb body builder man with 1% body fat. I suppose it all depends how you rank it.
As for Int, my GRE scores were average. So Int 8
Grades well . . . that confirms it.

Er... You do realise that 1% body fat indicates a body builder in shreddded competition condition, IE super dehydrated and weak as a kitten?

Anyway bodybuilders aren't the strongest humans, powerlifters, weightlifters and strongmen are and they often carry plenty of body fat.

According to the rule mechanics 14 (E)can carry twice what the average 7 can. Equals twice as strong. In D&D though strength seems to work differently in that respect so I can actually fit myself onto the scale.

Since the average man can apparently bench 70% or so of his weight and the average British man weighs perhaps 13 stone/182lbs this is about 130lbs, a pretty unimpressive performance if you ask me.

Oh and Employee 2-4601 trust me your girlfriend probably isn't stronger than you.

More like 280 after a bit of rounding, 260 would be 14/E.

Though bench press isn't the best mark of strength it's the only lift I remember the apparent general population average for*.

* 70% of body weight, though i've heard 80% from another source and of course it's unequipped lifts.

Bill Kazamier would probably place in the mid thirties according to his 660lb benchpress, which was part of a truly massive PL total in the early 1980's.
