Laser AP?

So, I haven't seen anything yet that states that Lasers have any amount of natural AP value. Am I correct on this? In many other game systems, one of the nasty things about lasers is that they penetrate very well, and you need to get stuff like reflec to counteract them. I may just instill an AP value myself, unless I am missing something in the rules? How far off am I?

The way I play it is that if the armor is not resistant to laser fire then it's as if the armor is not there....

Note -- combat armor and battle-dress are rated to work against laser weapons as well as kinetic.....

Back in the CT days my players used to wear cloth armor and reflec on top of that.

I agree with the above post - I might be tempted to let plate have a point or two of armour as well (against lasers)
