Looking for Beowulf deck plans

Scale is 20px/m.

Thank you for posting this. I used it as the basis for another attempt at my own plans, by the simple expedient of printing it out and holding a piece of graph paper against it at various points. At the scale it printed, I managed to fit everything in about where I wanted it, both width and height wise, but there's some extra space as well, and it's too big overall. Counting everything from nose to tail, it's over 500 squares. On the other hand, if I shrink the scale down very much, I don't see how I can still get all 6 passenger staterooms into the full-height part of the upper deck. Not without making them smaller than 2 squares wide, anyway.

And it's still smaller than the generic Type As in the 1248 "Small Merchant Ships" book. :)

atpollard did some amazing plans, but again I think the size is wrong.

The rear also doesn't match the various illustrations either, having only one central engine nozzle. It's a very thought-provoking design, though. I'm impressed with the the way it breaks free from the graph paper and use more rounded spaces. Not so sure about the bridge, but I love the crew module. I wouldn't mind living on that ship.

The modular "liberty ship" is pretty interesting too.

Well i have posted my design in the art section,

so lets here it........(ducks in case of flame) :)

It's very nice. I especially like the upper deck, with the little lounge on one side, and the way those four outside windows actually line up with the interior.

Somewhere, I have the Traveller's Digest Starship Operator's Manual for the Type A. It was written for the MegaTraveller rules, and includes a whole bunch of fold-out deckplans, interior illustrations, etc.

It sounds like what you want, but I've no idea where you'd get your own copy...

(IANAL: is it legal to scan limited portions of a product for someone else's use under the 'purposes of excerpt or review' clause?)
