Now Im not an expert but I do have a large sollection of CT stuff but cant for the life of me find anything on the minor human races. Help!
This is prompted on the MGT suppliment for the Lurani and exclaiming "who the hell are these guys?"
Twiki? Really? Please tell me that's not a semi-official term? I mean... Twiki?!? :nonono:

Actually, Twiki is the name of a Wiki software package. That's what I thought he was referring too.

Twiki is an annoying ambuquad AI bot in the old Buck Rogers TV show.
That wiki page lists 36 minor human races, which, along with the three major human races would make 39 human subspecies.
Alien Module 6: Solomani says that there are "currently forty-six known and identified human subspecies within explored human space".
What are the other seven?
Yes. I can't remember the original source, but it is stated in GT: Humaniti.Alien Module 6 seemed fairly clear when it talked about the subspecies creation by the Ancients that the Vilani, Solomani and Zhodani were three of the known 46 subspecies... was this retconned in another source?
There is no reliable count as far as I know. As for individual TUs, as many as the referee wants.Anyway, taking out post-Ancient geneered races, and the non-canonicals, how many slots are left that can be filled either canonically in future or in people's own TU's?
"within explored human space" also doesn't even include all of Charted Space, so there is room for others, certainly.
I would have sworn that there were more than that.2 dieback Human minors (meaning they survived the Final War but not to 1105)
Don't be a tease, Don. What's the fourth? I never heard of but the traditional three.4 human majors (meaning they survived the Final War, developed jump independently and are active in 1105)
49?!? 49 minor human races mention in official publications and not disallowed for conflict and/or inanity? (I'm thinking specifically of the three throwaway references to minor human races in the Spinward Marches which is a) contrary to a canonical statement in Darrians and b) three really inane descriptions).49 human minors (geneeered by the Ancients, survived and are active in 1105)
Geneered variants, you mean?14 human chimera (see T5; except the geneering was done post-Ancients, and generally since the first Human major gained jump drive).
The T5SS has identified, as part of the Sophont review, the following:
.
.
.
.
So at the moment the T5SS recognizes 69 human subspecies, 9 human cultures, 1 uplifted major and 6 uplifted. There's also the case of the Gashiini from JTAS Online, which would classified as an uplifted minor (geneered by the Ancients, survived and are active in 1105) if they gain canon status.
Don't be a tease, Don. What's the fourth? I never heard of but the traditional three.

The Syleans? Maybe?
