Are you planning on simply taking over the feudal system where you are or going after the leadership of the entire Imperium?
How many jumps are you from Core?
What assets do you have in place and counter plans for an emergency exit?
Do you have plans for the Moot to support your claim to the throne?
Do you have enemies which will try to stop you
Or worse
Enemies who will support you until you reach the throne before they try to replace you?

Based on my experience painting miniatures & plastic models, I would have to concentrate on that or wind up with metallic purple fingers
