And of course it's being promoted as an emergency escape system for a stricken space craft or the ISS, presuming it stays up long enough to have an emergency requiring evacuation and the system is developed before that...

Nah I'd go for it! I loved just jumping out of a plane or helicopter while I was in the army. This would be a kick in the pants!
