Printing Deckplans

Does anyone know of a way to print, for example, the old FASA deckplans so that they replicate the original printed versions on larger than 8.5 x 11 paper? I realize that the PDFs might not scale up well being scans but thought I'd ask.

If printing them using Acrobat Reader, the "poster" option allows priting on multiple sheets, trimming, and pasting together.

Print shops (i.e., Kinkos) usually have large format printers as well.

I know that Office Depot has a large format printer in their copy-services center, the one location local to me has a 36" wide capacity with output length only limited to the stock loaded.

Office Depot will likely be the most affordable source based on my personal experience, based on my experiences also the most hassle-free..

Office Max may-may not have such large format machines in stores subject to need-demand, my neighborhood store discontinued that service due to lack not meeting minimal sales of such.

Tragically, Office Max and Office Depot are in the process of a merger so best luck all around locating a local store.

Kinko's can sometimes be 'difficult' printing any materials you do not hold copyright to, this is speaking as a customer and a former employee-shift supervisor.

Fair Use is something that's difficult for Kinko's to understand and is pretty much a company-wide grey-area most often resulting in refusal to print-copy materials in question.

As a customer I once literally had to turn on the machine-press start to get a job ran which was enlargements of blank sheets of hex paper.

There's an 11x17" capable inkjet printer for abotu $110. It was tempting, but it's an inkjet, and I won't do an inkjet again.
