Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.
Well the rules that come to mind for me is T4's Fire Fusion and steel.
Civilian hull coatings are discussed as having the ability to display advertising or a wide array of patterns and colors.
A simple camera system could be used to image the environment and a computer program then actively controls the surface of the hull to display on the other side of the hull what would be seen if the hull was not there.
More common is the black, military black, and military ultra black coatings that simply seek to eliminate as much of the reflectivity as possible. Any of these coatings systems are able to create a chameleo-skin effect.
Default hull coating is the civilian level with no added mass or cost.
Bare hull could be specified saving Cr 50 per ton (mass, not volume) of the hull.
