Just thought of another differentiator while considering Hotel Cargo Bay.

The Staterooms will have individual environmental control- temperature, atmo mix, grav field, etc. The small craft will be a cheap hostel bed with maybe a fan.

There's no indication that there's an atmospheric difference between a stateroom, and a cargo hold.

Unless you are a (colonist)/(steerage) crammed into one of a bunch of 1.5m3 restricted seats set up in the cargo hold and dosed up with fast drug for the duration of the trip. "don't worry you'll be there in a day". And if the ship only needs a week, well then you will feel like you were teleported into the large pavallion/shed on the destination world to wait out the remainder of your fast drug dose.
