Does anyone have a copy of the weapons chart they could scan for me?
I seem to have misplaced mine.

Also, what personal combat rules do you all prefer?

Snapshot/Striker/MegaTraveller?

I am leaning towards a hybrid, but wonder if anyone has already done this.

Book1 has damage dice, Striker and Snapshot have Pen and AV values, MT combines these.

My hybrid is to use the damage dice from Book1, Add Pen from Striker, and subtract AV.

Id like a system that is simpler than MT, but incorporates AV from striker, and also keeps the damage dice to apply to Stats.

Does anyone have a better system?

Quick errata note: The Body Pistol does 2D6 damage (not 3D6) and the Cutlass does 3D6 (not 2D6). These were carry over mistakes from back when the original damage for the weapons was 3D6-8 for the Body Pistol and 2D6+4 for the Cutlass.

What I used to do (and it worked very well for years) was to take the basic range and damage table from Book #1 and Mercenary and then use the Armor Values found in Azhanti High Lightning. The AZH Armor Values are identical to Striker in most cases with the (weird, I think) exceptions to Cloth (AZH=6, Striker=5) and a couple others. Using AZH value lets you also run the Armors that pop up in Traveller by "reversing the polarity" of the descriptions. As an example if an Armor is listed as "Cloth-2" then the AHL value would be '8'. Or if an Armor was listed as "Combat Armor+1" you subtract the "1" from the AZH value of '8' for a value of '7'.

I started doing this way back when Azhanti High Lightning first came out. Strangely enough, Mongoose's Traveller combat system runs pretty much the same.
