Space Combat games

I love to see a "rule sheet" if you run a game at Origin. I.e. all the basic rules you need to play if you are a complete novice.

Don't have the sheets done up yet for Trav, but email me and I can get you the Trek rules summary - it refers to Full Thrust for a lot of basics, so you'd need FT to really play, but the summary sheet is sufficient to get an idea of how the 3d mod works.

Starship combat games come in several categories, and the best for the situation will depend on the situation...

For fighters (or, at least, the fighter "feel") I'm likely to default to Silent Death, as cinematic as it is. If I need complexity, I'll pull out Renegade Legion:Intereptor...

For RP combats (typical traveller PC ship scale) I use a mixture of "the Referee says so" and Mayday, mostly to aid visualization...

For fleets, I've found either Full Thrust, BattleFleet Gothic, or Slag to work fairly well.
