534: two phrases for the price of one

On page 534, left side, under the TELEPORT section, in the Destination Visualization paragraph, in the first sentence reads:

Teleport requires seeing the destination; seeing it will suffice.

The phrases "requires seeing the destination" and "seeing it will suffice" say the same thing.

539: Shifted left

On page 539, it appears all the tables and pictures are too wide, shifted to the left, where they meet the edge of the page.

536: missing paren

On page 536, left side, in the 2nd paragraph under THE SPIMACOPOEIA, there is a closing parenthesis missing at the end of the first sentence.

544: Extra parenthesis

On page 544, left side, in the "Everywhere NIL" paragraph, there is an extra closing parenthesis in the first sentence.

(Perhaps they stole it from page 536; see previous post. :))

One more:

Page 286, SELECT MISSION MODIFIERS (Table F) (recommendation): Recommend adding "Electronic Warfare" to line E after Essential.

590: typo

On page 590, right side, in the first sentence under the "The Range Of The Encounter" section, the phrase "an beast" occurs. It should either be "a beast" or "any beast", depending on what the intent is.

602: typo

On page 602, right side, the very bottom paragraph, the first sentence says "..., inflicting ID damage to Str-Dex-End per minute."

The "ID" should be "1D".

"..., inflicting 1D damage to Str-Dex-End per minute."

NOTE: The I (eye) is hard to tell, but it is (I copied it to another application to verify that it truly is an I).

BIG TIME SECONDED!

One more:

Page 286, SELECT MISSION MODIFIERS (Table F) (recommendation): Recommend adding "Electronic Warfare" to line E after Essential.
Hell Yeah, Brother! Preach the faith of ElInt and ECW ships essential to spooks, system defenders and invaders, and other grey area work.

Oh, by the way, I think he is right and I too recommend the change.

664: bolding error

On page 664, left side, in the paragraph titled "A DM Changes The Die Roll", have the word "makes" is bolded. I think "easier" should be bolded, as in the previous paragraph.

677: Stray words

On page 677, at the very bottom, under even the page number, the words "Lettered Range Bands" appear. They seem out of place.

Page 183: "Hot" damage is mentioned twice, but I am unable to locate this damage type anywhere else in the text. Perhaps it should be changed to "Heat" or "Burn"?

Page 193: Ortillery apparently provides less damage than a flash-bang grenade. This seems odd, given that it fell from orbit.

Page 213 GunMaker 01 Table:

Shouldn't the Burden for Body, Very LIght, and Snub be -2, -1, and -1 respectively (unless I completely misunderstand how Burden and its modifiers work)?

And why do Light, Heavy, and Very Heavy have no modifiers at all?

Upon further consideration, this applies to TL. I think I need to quit for the night.

p330, The Orion Detonators, "non-pubic protections."

The devices typically have a variety of fail-safe interlocks
and codes, remote tracking and identifications, and other
non-pubic protections.

Probably should be "public"? Really, I'm not sure what the intent was here. What are "non-public protections" anyway?

(I dunno. I think I want pubic protections!)

The dip switch.

Those are the the protections installed that the public is not informed about to keep nasty bad people from hijacking a few Orion "bombs" and using them for nefarious purposes.

Things like letting it be known to the that there is a physical arming switch, the non-public protection is that if you use the "physical arming" the device is rendered safe. Stuff like that, not saying that is even one of the protections. Official Secrets Act and all that, you understand.
