Page 289, CONFIGURATION MODIFIERS (omission): Agility bonus/penalty for under/over tonnage needs to be listed here.

Discussion:

Over and Under tonnage are mentioned in numerous places. Pages 275 and 288 mention that undertonnage positively impacts performance and page 275 specifies that agility receives a bonus.

Pages 276, 277, and 290 specify agility bonus from fins (+1).

Pages 289 and 325 specify agility bonuses and penalties derived from configuration choices.

Page 277 specifies a -1 penalty for each external ordnance item carries.

Page 393 provides the formula to calculate agility (power plant potential minus currently used Gs).

No where does it specify how much of a bonus or penalty you apply to agility for under or over tonnage. I think the best place to put it would be page 289 but there should likely be other mentions (325 is most likely).

Page 212: Minimum Damage
Needs clarification. If damage is applied to characteristics in whole-die increments, how is a flux roll handled? Apply the entire flux as if it were a single roll?

p.632: typo

Rebreather
TL A, Size 3, 1 kg, Cr 200.
An improved version of the Breather for better performance
and efficiency. EMCage 10, Selaed 12.

Should be Sealed instead of Selaed

The price may be wrong as well, the TL A Breather costs Cr600 and only has Sealed 6, I suspect this one is supposed to be a price of Cr1,200

Page 178, Sense Effect Weapons (correction): Suggest replacing the first sentence "Some weapon effects affect the senses. The effect bypasses Hit Location; it produces an effect without regard to Hit Location" with "Some weapons affect the senses. These effects bypass Hit Locations; they produce effects without regard to Hit Location." I think it reads easier, especially the first sentence.

Page 178, 3 Roll For Damage & Penetration, Hits Versus Armor (??): I do not understand the first sentence of the second paragraph, "Hit Effect X Pen is doubled...(etc)" Is this one of the places where "X" should be replaced with a multiplication sign?

Page 179, 3 Roll For Damage & Penetration, Difficulty (correction): replace "Difficulty for the Ranged Attack is based on Range dictates the number of Dice rolled" with "Difficulty for the Ranged Attack is based on Range, with Range Number dictating the number of dice rolled".

Page 250, 02 Operations: where is VehicleMaker subtopic 01?

Page 264, missing heading, should be "15 Small Craft".

Page 265, missing heading, should be "16 Vehicle Examples".

Page 291, 07 Starship Jump Fields, G - Calculate Safe Jump Distance (correction): the example of jump plates on the _March Harrier_ says Strength = 110; it should read "S=140" (based on the numbers given in paragraph F, same page).

Page 323, Lifters Z-Drives (correction): second paragraph, last sentence should read "Lifters have an effective horizontal top speed of 25 kph." to match the information at the bottom of page 325.

Page 333, Blockage definition (correction): change jumpline to courseline.

Page 333, Courseline definition (clarification): Add the following sentence at the end: "When referring to ships with jump drives, this is often called a jumpline."

Page 367, N - KK Missile (clarification): change to "KK (Kinetic Kill) Missile Launcher..."

Page 368, X - AM MISSILE (correction): the description is for weapon type-Y and needs to be modified for an AM Barbette.

Page 477, The Low Lottery (correction): this paragraph is in the wrong place, and needs to be moved to the section dealing with Passengers.

Page 602, chapter title (correction): these are simply Events, not Beastmaker Events. Either delete "Beastmaker" or rename this chapter "Eventmaker" and expand it.

Page 667, 5D SIX DICE (correction): should read "5D FIVE DICE".

Page 736, Donosev picture (correction): something has changed between the printing if this image in the T5 book and this PDF. Restore the image so we can see the ship.

Page 739, The Green List (correction): remove the black spot from between the SDB image and the Lab Ship (probably just a leftover from placing the images on the page or re-editing them for this manuscript).

Page 736, Donosev picture (correction): something has changed between the printing if this image in the T5 book and this PDF. Restore the image so we can see the ship.

The full picture of the Donosev ended up on p.737, but the caption for the vessel on that page is wrong.

True, but all we see are asteroids. Maybe it needs a different pic, but at least a repositioning. Does this need to be moved to Discussion?

p. 65, 68 - Gentleman

This might be an errata item:

On the two Noble Land Grant Tables (p.65 & p.68), in the "Gentleman" Row:

The information looks like it might be tabbed over one extra column. There is nothing listed under "Where?", but a listing of "any" under both "Preferred World" and "Hexes MW":

NOBLE LAND GRANTS
SocNobleWhere?Preferred WorldMWother
AGentlemananyany1
[TC="3"][/TC][TC="2"] Hexes [/TC]

Should this perhaps read:

NOBLE LAND GRANTS
SocNobleWhere?Preferred WorldMWother
AGentlemananyany1
[TC="3"][/TC][TC="2"] Hexes [/TC]
- OR -
NOBLE LAND GRANTS
SocNobleWhere?Preferred WorldMWother
AGentlemananyany1
[TC="3"][/TC][TC="2"] Hexes [/TC]
?

p.35 vs p.65 & p.68 - "Prince" and/or "Imperial Family"

On p.35 on C6/Nobility Table, the following is listed:

G Archduke
G Prince
H Emperor

But on p.65 & 68 on the Noble Land Grants Tables, the following are listed:

G Archduke
H Imperial Family
H Emperor

p.68 - Explorer-Discoverer Land Grants - CLARIFICATION

On the Land Grants Table on p.68, perhaps a note of clarification under Discoverer Land Grants is in order. Though the text tells us that such a grant operates much like a Noble Grant, it says nothing about extent or size of the Grant. Is this what the "Gentleman" row is for? If so, it should be made more clear. And if so, does that mean that a Scout with a Discoverer Grant has his C6/Soc automatically raised to "A" if it is lower than A?

p.69 - Aging - Lifestage 2 (Adolescent vs. Teen)

On p.69 (Right-hand Column) - Aging:

In the Table, Life Stage 2 is called "Adolescent", whereas in the accompanying explanatory text below it, Lifestage 2 is called "Teen".

Since the table is supposed to be generic for all sophonts, not all members of various species will happen to become adolescents in their "Teen" years (i.e. "10's" of years), regardless of what calendar is being used. The explanatory text ought to be changed to "adolescent" to match the table.

p.356 - CommPlus

On p.356 (left column):

Space Range S= Sensors
.
.
.
Comms. Communicator TL8-16 or CommPlus TL17+.
CommPlus has been changed to TL15 (Standard) everywhere else in the T5.09 text. The text here should probably read:

Comms. Communicator TL8-14 or CommPlus TL15+.

The Atmosphere table on page 409 (T5.09) contains codes that should reference the Environmental Effects table, but it is not explained or mentioned. The Environmental Effects table is on page 196.
S=Suff, C=Corrode, P=Poison

8: index is off

On pages 8 and 9, the index entries pretty much all point to incorrect page numbers. For example, Starports on page 9 shows as starting on page 304, but it actually starts on 267.
