502: Duplicated "Era" column headers

On page 502, 504, and 506, the word Era appears above two columns. I suspect the first Era should be replaced with "TL" or "Tech Level".

510: 0+1+2+3+4 = 18, not 20

On pages 510 and 512, the definition of a generation is the sum of the years in life stages "0+1+2+3+4". It further mentions that this is 20 years for humans.

However, it's only 18 years. The math on page 512 even adds up the numbers (2+4+4+4+4) and gets 20, but it's still 18.

510: Unclear term "maximum ordinary"

On page 510, the term "maximum ordinary" is used twice (in the last two paragraphs of the "The Typical Arc" section on the left). However, it's not really defined. The sentence above the "Exceptions:" section seems to be trying to define the term, but it's not clear.

I would write that sentence as

Ultimately, the species tops out at the "maximum ordinary" Tech Level (which is TL 21), and begins ...

It's a little longer, and would still fit, but would be clearer.

This reminds me: I think the book needs a glossary, but a Wiki would serve just as well.

508: Extra word

On page 508, right side, in the Socioneering 27 section, last sentence:

I believe the word "which" is an artifact of a previous life. It should be removed.

129: Invisible space

On page 129, left side, the title "FLYER" contains an invisible space between the Y and the E. (I call it invisible because there's no obvious gap, despite its presence.)

It appears that the E has been moved to the left to compensate, but the space is still there. Probably need to retype the whole line.

136: typo

On page 136, right side, under MUSICIAN and then the Musical Instruments paragraph, the last part reads:

... knowledge in at least one on a specific instrument type.

I believe the "on" should be changed to "of":

... knowledge in at least one of a specific instrument type.

126: verbal should be verbally

On page 126, on the right side, in the second task definition, the first line says "to deliver a note verbal". It should be "to deliver a note verbally"

117: Typo

On page 117, right side, under the section titled "Animal Trainer", second paragraph, there is a semi-colon after the period at the end of the sentence/paragraph.

118: Missing blank line

On page 118, left side, before and after the first full paragraph, there should be a blank line. Also, the top line on the left is part of the task that started on page 117. I recommend keeping those together; they're difficult to follow this way.

118: Section difficult to understand

On page 118, left side, starting at the paragraph that starts with "Wild animals have no familiarity with sophont ...", through the entire "Sophont Trainer" section: These paragraphs are difficult to follow.

For example, the "Wild animals have no familiarity with sophont masters." sentence seems completely unrelated to the Animals skill it's part of. It's almost like it is treating sophonts as animals.

Gambling and Stats.

Page 131, Gambling. Under Spend The Evening Gambling: to win a casual game is Dex + Gambling which sounds like a craps game, but what if they are playing something poker (which Dex matters little as long as you don't show your cards) it comes down to Int or possibly Psychology is more useful to that game, some games like Go or Chess might benefit more from Edu.

Point is might want to make a note that the characteristic used can depend on the game. Also, that Pyschology or other skills/knowledges may be applicable as Mods to the roll.

116: The 6 Arts ...

On pages 116 (Actor), 119 (Artist), 121 (Author), 122 (Chef), 125 (Dancer), and 136 (Musician), the 6 Arts are all listed under the "Related Skills" section. (They're all at the very end of the articles.)

To be consistent with the Trades and Soldier and Starship skills, they should get their section renamed as "The Arts" or "Arts".

140: Typo or layout issue

On page 140, left side, the last line of the second Task under "Penetrating Defenses" is indented too much.

141: Type

On page 141, left side, at the end of the paragraph that starts on page 140, there is a space before the period in the last sentence.

142: Duplicated concepts

On page 142, left side near the top:

The paragraph under the section header "Combat" and the paragraph labeled "Related Skills" (immediately under "Combat") contain duplicated concepts. Naval and Fleet Tactics are contrasted in both places (with different wordings). One set of text can probably be moved, or the two can be merged.

I suggest: move the first sentence of the Combat paragraph to the end of the Naval Tactics paragraph just above it. Then, eliminate the rest of the Combat paragraph.

390 Typo

Page 390 under Penetration: AV-11 is x100 against Heat (wghich includes Beams, Lasers).

need to remove the g in which.

531: mouse and dog inconsistent

On pages 531 and 532, mice (mouse) are referred to as mental sizes 2 and 3, respectively.

Similarly, dogs are referred to as mental sizes 3 and 4, on pages 531 and 532, respectively.

The references on 531 are in the upper-right quarter. The references on page 532 are in the paragraph titled "Ability: Cloud Other Minds" (left side, 2/3 of the way down).

532: extra word

On page 532, right side, in the 2nd paragraph under the "THE SECOND TRAINING SESSION", the words "determines" and "explores" appear next to each other. One of them is not needed.

The same error occurs on page 533, left side, in the 2nd paragraph under the "THE THIRD TRAINING SESSION".
