109: grammar error

On page 109, towards the top in the MISHAP section on the left, in the paragraph that starts "If negative, ":

It says "the user suffers an Severity= Easy injury ...". It should be "the user suffers a Severity= Easy injury ...".

Also, I'm not sure if Severity can be capitalized there. But, for this one, if not, there are many other instances on the page. Probably not worth worrying about.

121: typo

On page 121, left side, last paragraph under BIOLOGICS:

The parenthetical notation "(as opposed to an unskilled worked)" should be changed to "(as opposed to an unskilled worker)".

However, I also checked Craftsman (another of the ten Trades), and it has the same typo. I suspect it was copy/pasted, so it probably needs to be corrected in 10 different places in the Skills section of the book.

121: Not strictly needed sentence

On page 121, left side, bottom paragraph of the BIOLOGICS section:

The last sentence lists out the 10 Trades. This sentence isn't a problem, but it also could be changed to "The ten Trades are listed on page 112."

If space is short in this section, consider replacing all of these paragraphs (the Trades, Arts, Starship Skills, etc.) with the shorter sentence pointing to the table on page 112.

p.292 Ablat and Reflec

On page 292, the starship armor chart, the protections for Ablat and Reflec are Reversed. Ablat should be Heat and Reflec should be Burn, per pages 278 and 293.

p.503 Technology-2

On page 503 computer models are listed as starting with Model 1 at TL 6, skipping TL 8 and ending at Model 9 at TL 15. On pages 306 and 520 computers start at model 0 at TL 8 and go to model 9 at TL 17. All 3 pages seem wrong but at least 306 and 520 agree. Have computer TLs been deliberately bumped?

p.s. Missed a table on page 368 that was talking about guidance computers. It agreed with the table on page 503, so that's 2 pages vs 2 pages.

159: Also 160; unexplained asterisks

On page 159, in the table at the bottom, under the Inferiority column and on the Persuade line:

The number is +2*. However, there's no definition for the asterisk.

There IS an entry for the same entry on page 160 (middle table), so I suspect the same note is required.

Also, it's not clear if the several asterisks in the top table on page 160 refer to the note under the second table.

170: Missing words, I think

On page 170, right side, the 4th paragraph of the Example (the long paragraph), 2nd sentence:

The sentence reads "... or less on 2D to scent of fire ...". I believe it should read "... or less on 2D to identify the scent of fire ...". Or "recognize" or "smell".

171: Math error?

On page 171, left side, under the Effects section and then in the Respiratory Effects paragraph, last sentence:

I believe it should be intensity 4 times 2 digits = Poison-8, not Poison-4.

171: Typo

On page 171, in the header above the table on the right, first paragraph:

I believe "individual" should be singular. In the text it's plural.

178: Typo

On page 178, left side, in the AIMED SHOTS callout box, second sentence:

It says "The entire combat round to consumed by aiming." I think it should have been "The entire combat round is consumed by aiming."

49: No retirement pay, but retire x 2?

On page 49, in the leftmost column of the bottom table, numbers 8 & 9 are "Retire x2". However, Scouts do not get retirement pay, unless I missed that elsewhere.

On page 49, in the leftmost column of the bottom table, numbers 8 & 9 are "Retire x2". However, Scouts do not get retirement pay, unless I missed that elsewhere.

It's also on page 59. I brought this up elsewhere but forget where. I think it was on the errata discussion thread.

58: Suggested Addition

Per the thread I started in the T5 forum, I suggest adding a sentence in the middle of the paragraph headed "If Citizen Life Succeeds…" that reads something like, "Rather than rolling randomly for a Job skill, characters with a Major and Minor may throw Edu or less to take their Major as their Job and, if that fails, throw Edu or less again to take their Minor as their Job."

185: typo

On page 185, in the melee section, right side.

The second full sentence says "The available skillis Fighter; ...". I think there's supposed to be a space between "skill" and "is".

193: Extra period

On page 193, the IED table on the left, the note at the bottom has two periods at the end.

See previous post: scientists believe that this period has Jump Drive 1 capability, and mis-jumped from page 192.

225: Somewhat redundant info

On page 225, regarding the two paragraphs that extend the width of the page (at the top):

These two are mostly redundant. One or both could be rewritten to removed redundant info, saving space.

Medals Table

pg. 71, Medals Table mentions only Soldier and Spacer Careers. Marine career pg. 66 mentions that Enlisted and Officer Promotion rolls do get Medals mods.
