TA Authors

TAx: Small Scouts , All ship designs are done, all vehicles are done, working on fluff text and deckplans. Well, I'm working on the deckplans, while Mr. Woods, my flunky, is working on the fluff. But don't call him a fluffer... ;)

Working on some additional sensor/survey rules.

Colin Dunn
2320AD writer, Small Scouts writer and deckplanner, and very tired father of three...

The first draft of TAx: Robot Adventures is complete and has been submitted to Martin for his perusal and approval.

I am now beginning work on EAx: Diplomatic Relations, a political adventure set in the Glimmerdrift Reaches.

Enjoy,
Flynn

Good afternoon, All,

The progress on TEx: Diplomatic Relations has been slow due to another project for Martin, but I am making some headway toward my goal of delivering the first draft by the end of April. Here's what I've got to report this week:

</font>
  • Continuing to detail Acts and Scenes.</font>
  • Words to date: 10,324</font>
Keep On Travellin',

Good afternoon, All,

Still making slow but steady progress on TEx: Diplomatic Relations, even with other projects and a life getting in the way. ;)

Here's what I've got to report for this week:

</font>
  • Words to date: 11,146</font>
  • Continuing to detail Acts and Scenes</font>
  • Developing associated Library Data</font>
Enjoy,
Flynn

EA-X Merchant Cruiser is almost finished - 3000 more words to do. deckplans finished, staport deckplans finished, world map still to be done.

TA-X Solomani fighting ships front section almost done - about 4500 words. provisional list of 32 ships to be designed has been drawn up.

regards

Mike

TA:X In The Clouds, finally found some time to work on this, and find the hard numbers regarding some design requirements. 6 designs left to go.

Good afternoon, All,

Work interfered with some of my progress earlier, but I'm stepping some things up on TEx: Diplomatic Relations, even with other projects and that whole work thing going on.

Things left to do:
</font>
  • Last two Acts and associated scenes;</font>
  • NPC stat blocks for about a dozen characters;</font>
  • List of rumors;</font>
  • Some background pieces.</font>
It's still looking good for a late April delivery, sooner if I can make it work out right.

Enjoy,
Flynn

Is anyone here happy to do a few Solomani T20 ship designs for me? I have the outlines done (ie tonnage, target performance, role, class name etc) But I have 32 to do and it may take me a while...

Mike

I'd volunteer, but I'm doing some work involving your MC, as well as a few other projects, and trying to get my EPIC Adventure completed.

If time frees up and I can, I would love to help out.

Good luck,
Flynn

TAx: Animal Encounters is proceeding well, due mainly to my getting sick last week and being deined internet access at home (but not the crucial computer access).

I expect that I can have something ready for editing in the next couple of weeks, depending upon schedules. The main bulk of work now is sorting the animals into tables based on terrain, world type, etc.

EA-X Mercenary Cruiser is half finished now.

You should have it by end of next week to add to your sweltering overwhelming staggering workload.

Good afternoon, All,

I've been busy at work and with special projects, so I've made very little progress on EAx: Diplomatic Relations. *sigh*

I'm still aiming for a mid- to late-April delivery date, so that I can move on to my next submission, should it become approved.

Enjoy,
Flynn

Real Life got in the way, including a death in the family (my wife's mother) so I've made virtually no progress in the last couple of months. Back to the grindstone.

I'm still slowly plodding with Specialist Ships of the Imperial Navy. Slowly a bit here and there. I am just too easily distracted by something shinier. I made a lot of progress last week though (several pages worth) and am trying to work out a few rules before discussing them with anyone else to see if they'd work.

*cracks whip*

Of all the naval books, that one potentially seems like the one which is most useful for RPG adventuring. So nostrum carborundorum.

TA:X In the clouds. I'm down to two designs left, which I should be able to finish this week. Usually I like to let a manuscript set for a few days before submitting it to the gentle hands of the editor. So by next week... Unless there's some other crisis which prevents it.

Woohoo! That'd be a fourth one done for ya, to my knowledge! Wow! That's pretty impressive!

Between you and Michael Taylor, there's some impressive standards to live up to in terms of quality and quantity.

EAx: Diplomatic Relations should be completed by April 19th, and then it's on to the next one.

More later,
Flynn
