Nope, meant it for Morte. He's got an interesting idea he'd like to develop, but was concerned that he didn't have the OTU knowledge to make it happen. Just doing what I can to promote more people contributing to the overall success of T20, and by extension, Traveller as a whole.

I have some spare time after finishing something for MJD, and was wondering if anyone out there is looking for a specific kind of TA so I can get started on writing it. Any suggestions are welcome.

Some ideas that come to mind:

• one on the scout service (missions, background, structure, ships)</font>
• one detailing a megacorp, its branches, etc, or several megacorps</font>
• one detailing a passenger or cargo line (structure, ships, a couple of short adventures)</font>
• one on historic (not necessarily "Ancient") sites</font>
• a collection of critters from various worlds</font>
• a set of name generators (for people, cities, ships, companies, businesses). Make it a combo PDF + software?</font>
• one on medical related matters (hospitals, emergency care, diseases)</font>

That's it for a quick list before I head to bed...

I'm working on another project for MJD at present that is likely to take 4-6 weeks so I cant start anything else until then anyway.

Books detailing all the minor races in a given sector?

Better to detail those within a domain, as you should really only see about 5-6 Minor Races per sector, based on the mechanics of determining their locations.

A domain would allow us to see maybe 20-30 of them in print. Most of the racial write-ups I've seen to date rarely take up more than two pages in the standard T20 format.

How a about a start-up campaign.

Detail 1 subsector with 3-4 page writeups on each world (complete history throught the eras would be nice)with adventure hooks on most of the worlds and 1/2 dozen bigger adventures 4-6 pages each.

It might be useful for new players / referees to have a pre-developed subsector with adventures.

In essence, that's a Traveller EPIC with a lot of world data. Still, it's a good idea for the concept behind designing an EPIC, and I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to pursue an effort to write one.

yes, something a bit like the big traveller adventure book that was done for CT. It covered the Aramis subsector, had the grand story arc and a far amount of minor distraction.

Though a TA version will have to be a bit thinner

Or the Sydymic Outworlds supplement we're freebieing with the Gateway book.

Yes,

You could either go the Sydymic outworlds supplement way, or instead of having a large grand adventure arc, have several smaller adventures set in the subsector but not necessarily connected.

That you're freebeing with the purchase of the Gateway book from QLI's store that is.

For $7.50 USD it isn't free with either my pdf copy of Gateway or my -in the process of being preordered through my FLGS if I have the correct stock number- printed copy pf Gateway.

No. I see little need at this time to spend an additional $7.50 USD for a total of $49.25 (1) (including sales tax) merely because I choose to support my FLGS as opposed to about $36.95 (2) + shipping if ordered directly with discount and free supplement. The subject matter, an Imperium subsector that is the home of the Sydites, doesn't interest me for the price.
