TAS Form 41, Character Generation...

Refs, When do you deem it time to break out form 41 and make a new career option for your players? What guidelines or requirements do you set? When is it warranted to you?

For me, it's when a player has come up with a concept that needs a new career, a niche unfilled. SInce I had Supp 12 (Forms and Charts) before Supp 4 (COTI), I did my own police.

After TNE came out, I did an MT version of Civil Aviator, Colonist, and Farmer, to enable using those careers in MT rules.

What about in instances of small polities? Like they did with the Sword Worlders back in JTAS. That was a nice all round career, if I recall...

There's a form in Supp 12 for making new careers? That's one of the two supplements I don't own. (The other being Supp 5.)

Lots of combat, interpersonal, and vice skills, plus a variety of vehicle selections. No space skills. JOT on 3 of the four tables (PD, Ed, 2x on AEd).
