The End Begins...

So you want it to end?

I can do ya one better. Remember while watching this that the mountains are the Himalayas.

I like the way they have twisted the future/past a bit each time.

That way you don't know what the outcome is of characters before you go to the movie.

Creepy... could be fun. 2012... dang that brings back memories of being a kid and watching In Search Of...
Unfortunately, the producer of that upcoming movie is schlockmeister Roland Emmerich, who's production credits include godawful dreck like that American Godzilla movie and The Day After Tomorrow.

He also did Independence Day, which I'll admit is the kind of mindless fun that some people like. But his most recent movie was 10,000 B.C.; 'nuff said.

I'm not saying you shouldn't go and see the movie. All I'm saying is that considering the dude's track record, don't be surprised if you come out of it feeling like you just drank an entire punchbowl worth of turd-water.

Dear god. Don't be so coy -What is your real opinion ? You really need to stop repressing yourself..;)

Indeed, thanks...

I for one have to go and see it, as ever since I saw the first one, the question of what happened between now and then (there?) has been something that I wanted to see. The actual war between us and Skynet. Ah, the good new days. :p

Funny seeing a blue sky and sunshine, after all those flashbacks, I got to thinking it was always dark and destroyed, but well, I suppose that it is because it looks cool.

Hoping this one doesn't suck as much as the last one...

EDIT: Oh and just for fun, has anyone considered the fact that according to the history so far, we have not won, Skynet keeps sending back more and better units...so where are the Skynet Historical Research Sites...complete with Chronoscanners?

Actually, my greatest fear is the announcement that someone has optioned and written a screenplay for Traveller...

but Uwe Boll is directing.

Are you pulling legs here?

Is this for real...*checks Calender* nope, not even close to April. *whew*

So, Don is this for real or what?

I like the theory that we just keep delaying Judgement Day. That's why each new Terminator Skynet sends back* is more advanced - technology has had a chance to progress further.

*It actually only ever sends one - each is from an alternate future.

Good show, Andrew!

Well that is one of the theories that my friends and I have also thrown into the mix, still nice to see that once again, great minds think alike. :D

EDIT: But I personally think that much like any smart machine life, it backed up itself and made multiple copies, in case of corruption (see humans messing up the plan again).

Fyi

You do know that there is a real computer company that named it self after the Skynet computer company (the one that build Skynet) in the movie.

See that's what they get for not paying attention, as we all know the Company that built Skynet for the USAF is CyberDyne Systems, said so plainly on the building in Terminator 2 and the name is mentioned IIRC in the first movie.
