Three different types of HePlaR

Greetings:

Does anyone know the difference between

standard HePlaR,

Tritium boosted HePlaR,

or Self-spallation HePlaR?

HEPLaR is basically a recombustion chanber to take a fuel and heat it to a plasma state and use it as thrust

The problem with HEPLaR is the almost handwavium treatment of fuel consumption and other considerations .. Thus for a decently realistic look at rockets, thrusters and such -- HEPLaR is ignored (as it's written in TNE/T4)

but if you use handwavium -- such as grav-vehicles, thruster plates, grav focused lasers, etc, etc -- then HEPLaR is a neat addition -- especially when making your own missiles and grav vehicles

Just out of curiosity, at which ranges are starship lasers working at in CT, MT, GT and MgT?

If my memory serves me rigth, the hex scale was 50K km in MT.
