Dagrill, could you elaborate? what do you think in the MgT rules makes battleships more effective?

The ability to dish out more damage and take more, for example an
Aslan 75kt Cruiser has a spinal mount dealing 420 damge and can take 834 damage per section over 4 sections

A 300kt TL15 Battleship (my Floriani version not official) spinal deals 520 damage and can take 3,428 damage per section with 5 sections to spread damage around.

The Floriani can guarantee to kill the Aslan with a maximum of 5 hits and with a lot of luck withstand up to 49 hits.

On a cost basis the Aslan can field about 6 to 1.
