Note that Combat Armor is vulnerable to Cold attacks, while the Vacc Suit isn't, and both are vulnerable to sonic attacks. (Drop Armor is protected from sonic attacks, but is vulnerable to Cold attacks).

Note the last two entries penetrate through protections, rather than Armor proper.
 
Regular space background stuff or lite engineering issues, it is already strong enough at 11. Not sure it should be designed to protect against fusion/plasma weapons.
 
Don't get caught outside during a solar flare. Expecting a Vacc Suit to protect you from a solar flare is like travelling to a forest fire equipped with sun cream Factor 50. ;)

The slow ones you should be able to avoid. Near light speed ones, not so much.
