By jings, that MOOSE looks a lot like the personal re-entry kits from DGP's MT Journal Issue 3.
In fact it looks like TL6 Droptroops are a distinct possibility.

Yep, the ballistic reentry capsule is my idea of jump troop transport with built-in chute.
I like the EGRESS system. This could make every couch or low berth into a personal escape and re-entry capsule. I hadn't considered they could be made so small. 6 hours of air in your suit wouldn't do you much good halfway to Jupiter though.
MOOSE looks like the Traveller Vacc suit re-entry pack.
I'd always thought in real life it would get way too hot to enter wearing only a suit and backplate.
