TL7 Combat Armour?

I wasn't impressed with the practicality of his bear suit, but it'll be interesting to see how this develops.

Well, this guy seems to be building it at TL7-8. The only uncommon hi-tech stuff appears to be the bullet-proof ceramics. His bear suit started out at about TL6, as it was primarily a bunch of foam padding.

Yes, Brom is correct to begin with. That looks perfectly like TL7 material.

Yup, that's absolutely correct, Brom.

And until I can mail-order my personal LASER CARBINE (TL8) from my favorite gun dealer catalog, then we're still living in a TL7 world.

At TL 8 the Laser Carbine isn't powerful enough to use as a weapon. It's purely a target-designator. That's according to CT, anyway.

Don't know where my air/raft is, though.

No, it says it's used *primarily* as a target designator; it's still a perfectly good weapon.
