Well, maybe not completely realistic... hate to see lots of fractal radiator fins sticking out from those pretty starship hulls...
 
Thanks. SPL is Grufty's baby - we have a few products in the pipeline, but nothing quite as gratuitously pretty as this. Well, except for the 2008 calendar...
 
Grud on a greenie! That cockpit shot is looking dated. That's the trouble with 3D stuff - or artwork in general for me. I'm constantly improving so it's futile to plan long-term projects really because by the time I get half way through, the start is already looking ropey. It seems unlikely that that model will ever get finished =(

I can't think Why I didn't submit a shot of the landed Suleiman. That's the one I'm still most proud of.

I think Crow mentioned a while back that his website was going to go down sometime and he wasn't sure when he'd find a new place to put all his great stuff up.

For each calendar sold, SPL is donating $ 2.50 to childrens' charities. We are, of course, extremely grateful to all the artists that contributed images for the calendar and especially to Andrew Boulton for kick-starting and organising the whole thing.

I think there's just enough time for them to arrive before the New Year (for North America, anyway. Actually, Hong Kong, too, since the Chinese New Year isn't till February...)
 
I got mine today!!! There is great joy here, as I revel in the fabulous artwork - that air/raft is very lifelike. I now have to send out the other two to my friends, so they can have this joy, also!

(Quick question - which line is which country's holidays? Since there are 3 New Year's, two of everything from Good Friday to Easter Monday, etc.)

Great work, folks! When can I order the 2008 one?! :D
