Hey!
I'm looking to start a Traveller campaign/playtest group this weekend (Saturday, Nov. 1) in the Omaha, NE area. We'll be using the Classic and Mongoose Traveller rules as a foundation with a few house rules and minor add-ons from T4 (advanced education), and maybe MegaTraveller (planetary data, others to be determined).
The campaign's focus will be a Firefly style game - blowing things up in one adventure, trading in the next, etc. Characters from a broad spectrum of professions are welcome, but combat skills of some sort are a good thing (even if they're low).
This group will also be responsible for helping Hell Creek Publishing playtest adventures and other material for its line of PDF Traveller products. We'll meet at Ground Zero Games (50th & L streets) at 3 p.m. to begin character generation and will meet every other week thereafter, weather, work, and other real life stuff allowing.
