Weapon design for CT?

they do (atleast they have the potential - by better penetration score - to) according to my rules.

You could also look to T4 for inspiration, especially The Emperor's Arsenal.

If you do so the general trend is:

Oh, and looking at the CT first edition average damages, perhaps their translation into second edition should have been:
