Collace/District 268 (Spinward Marches1237), in a quaint little hab-module on the coast of the Western Flaming Sea, outside Downport Arcologies One.and Two.
The Flaming Seas (Western, Eastern, and North), of course burn with the gas from methanogenic algae seeded by the Darrian explorers who saved the descendants of the abandoned Sylean miners. It's my IMTU explanation of how this world with a Very Thin, Tainted atmosphere can still have fluid oceans covering 80% of its surface area: a hellacious greenhouse effect. The methane and other byproducts provide the atmospheric taint.
Looks pretty spectacular, at night, too.
(Yeah, it might not really work that way, but the Wiki says it has oceans rather than being an ice ball with rocky highlands, so...)

My first character I had run with was an aslan from Khusai in the Tlaiowaha Subsector of the Trojan Reach. Was disowned by her clan during a rather nasty inter clan event, ended up a scavenger at the downport scrap yard, taken off world to become part of a human pirate crew and ended up seeing a lot of the region between the Imperium and Hierate aboard a Harrier privateer corsair.
My other short time avatar was a boy on the large family farm/ranch on Bendor in the Glisten subsector of the Spinward March. He left the farm for training as a starship engineer and hired by a free trade company within Glisten. Had a long career as a Free Trader up to commanding his company ship then retired to find a new career in the wilds of District 268.

All of my Traveller playing has been in the Regina Subsector- there was too much going on there and we never made it out.
