Fiction, and "Roleplayinggame".

Without the game, the roleplaying is nought but improv acting. Without the roleplaying the game is just a detailed miniatures game.

Without the fiction part, most of my stories would not work...

It is about role-playing to me. Sci-fi is the setting that makes it possible. Game keeps the dice rolling and everybody guessing what will happen next.
