Actually, it's the Frozen North - "Sidney, BC" as in Sidney, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, North America, Western Hemisphere, The Earth
. (The Aussie city is spelt with two y's).

anyhooo. Enjoy BC is not exactly the frozen north if you're in England Unless you live in 'Land's End' on the southern most tip of the island you're actually further north than most of our most populated cities. And BC prides itself on being very modern. When it's not priding itself on being very british or very moutainous or very american. Interesting province BC. I've only visited but I wouldn't mind living there.
 
It's all part of the plot to turn Traveller into a Canadian domain. Of JTAS authors, myself, Rob Prior, Paul Lesack, James Maliszewski, and a few others are all living here. And GURPS guy David Pulver lives in -- I believe -- Kingston, Ontario.

The plan is to take it over, then trade it back to you guys for the 13 Colonies. Except New Jersey.
