Experiencing ISP Difficulty

For some bizarre reason, I can only apparently access this site and the Mongoose site, and not other websites at the moment.

It looks as though my ISP has a problem. I'll let you know when matters ... improve.

Hmm, doesn't sound like an ISP issue. Unless their ISP's DNS server only has two records... Not likely. What happens when you try going to another website?

Try using Google's public DNS server (8.8.8.8 ). Maybe your ISP's DNS is totally down and the only addresses in your Local Host file are those two sites. If that is the case, changing your DNS server to the above will solve.

Problem apparently resolved for now. Thanks for the replies. Though I did not relish the idea of living on a diet of Imperial Navy rations until I managed to change my ISP.

Don't know what you're complaining about. You should see what the feed the Army - makes Navy rations look like gourmet cuisine!
