Aramis needs some prayers

Apparently not - I'm uncertain as to why, but they are not attacking that one.
Teresa (my wife and a Hospice RN) says that the greatest danger from most clots is having it break loose and migrate to a lung ... so safely dealing with a 'partial blockage' is probably more important than swiftly dealing with it.

Our prayers for you and your wife continue.

the leg is swelling again. There's much concern. The surgeon and I chatted briefly yesterday.

She's making SLOW progress. She's able to walk, and able to do limited self-care at this point, but is not yet fit to come home. She did join the sunday game this week - via skype.

Hope she gets well soon Wil. My wife gets antsy these days when we don't game, and I can empathize only too well on how it feels to be in a hospital bed wanting desperately to get out of it. Sometimes it helps to know that relative strangers are hoping things get better for you and your loved one.

Bad joke you can tell at the hospital (if you dare).

Did you hear about the doctor who went bankrupt?

He had a lack of Patience (Patients?).

Ok, I hear the booing now...

Did you know that the Weather Bureau is a Non-Profit organization? Get it? Prophet?

Ok - I'll have to wait to spring some of my other jokes on you. I'll have to wait until you're all groaned up...

And yes, I have plenty more puns you can spring on your wife just to get her mind off things a little bit. ;)

Progress is progress. Help her be patient, if she needs it, and if you can.

Mrs Hostman is at home.

She and I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes.

But now the real trial begins - managing the ongoing healing.

Glad to hear.

Now you'll need patience as it may be slow, but our prayers will keep on you both.
