Best Traveller Articles from the Space Gamer

My favorites, are SG 74, which had Traveller (and other systems) rules for Count Dracula, and SG 37, which had Traveller (and other systems) rules for Alien xenomorphs.

While Space Gamer was a solid gaming magazine, I preferred the style of Different Worlds...

More Space Gamer articles.

Greetings !

I found these articles in my Space Gamer collection;

# 70: Competitive Citizens. Expanded character generation for Traveller's Citizens
of the Imperium.
# 73: Pre-enlistment skills in Traveller. "What about Kids ?"
# 76: Small Arms. The Future and Role-playing. ( Has examples with art. )
# 78: Ships of the Galaxy. Stileto Class Yacht.

That is all.

And once again I deeply regret not to have collected it.

Q: When will SJG put out a PDF?

Likely A: Never--because the same copyright muddle would ensue that sunk the Dragon CD. Which I also don't have. Sigh.

SJG is now putting out the Space Gamers in PDF form on their e23 site. They're not terribly expensive either.

I checked last night and it seems that they only have betw. 20 to 30 up. It would make sense and be easier on us if they would compile them altogether and just sell us the damn PDF collection like MWM's doing at FFE.

Agreed. I loved the more adult line that Different Worlds pursued...and I always found something lacking in the Space Gamer magazine - I would read the article...then wonder something more...

Hopefully, someone can convince Tashashi to release Different Worlds in PDF for I know a large community would love to see it again. I know that he and Allan are interested it is just the manpower to do it and profit sharing model.

I wouldn't be surprised if the do release them all on a single CD as soon as they've got them all scanned to PDF. I suspect they're pushing their manpower envelope to get them scanned in as is (since this isn't the only project they're working on). It may be a year or two before they're ready to release a CD.
