Space Rangers was appropriately goofy, which meant it was doomed as a show. The potential in the handful of episodes for Traveller is still pretty good though.
Space Rangers, I kind of rember that show but did not know what it was called. That was the one where the girl pilot controlled the ship lying down in the front wasn't it?
There was a filmed series from the 1950's called " Rocky Jones, Space Ranger ." It was a child-oriented space opera that established such science-fiction props as automatic pocket doors, english-speaking aliens, cloaking devices ("Cold Light") and such. Here are two links to get you started:
Is this obtainable anywhere on DVD/VHS that you know of? I've never even heard of it and my urge to see something with that title (even if it is the most massive cheese-fest ever) is pretty high....
Hmm, a quick google and look at IMDB don't find anything for "Daxter Doolittle: Royal Canadian Space Ranger". Is it that bad and unknown or are you making it up Maladominus?
If you can imagine TV pulp that is something better than "Captain Video" and "Lost in Space" but produced around 1953 to 1954, then "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger" would fit.
