Hello all,
Book 2 page 29 under Laser Fire is a section titled Shifting Fire which states:
"Each firing ship must allocate its fire to a specific target before any ship has actually fired. Such allocation may be changed (shifted) if the target is destroyed before any weapons on the attacking ship have fired, but such a shift is subject to a DM of a -6 in addition to all other applicable DMs."
The question I came up with is can the attacking ship abort firing of the laser instead of shifting targets?
Aborting the attack means that the laser isn't used until the next laser phase.
